Devlog #0 — From a Triangle, Something More

Hi! I’m starting this devlog to share the journey of a small game that’s been quietly growing in my mind - and now, finally, in code. There is a youtube video covering this log at

It started with a triangle. Literally. Inspired by Coding Train’s Asteroids video, I built a simple little ship that could drift and rotate. And then… I didn’t stop. I asked myself:
What if this triangle could change?
What if it could grow—modularly, organically?
What if the entire game was about healing, discovery, and survival—not through exposition, but through movement, persistence, and intuition?

The game:

At its core, it’s an arcade ARPG set in an infinite world You start as a lone, fragile triangle. You salvage parts. You survive. You explore. You change.

There’s no hand-holding. No inventory fuss. Just your decisions, your reflexes, and the slow evolution of your ship.
Each upgrade is visible. Tangible. Modular. The further you get, the stranger and more hostile things become.

The deeper layer:

It’s about slow progress. Quiet persistence. Becoming something new, piece by piece.

There’s a story here, but it’s not handed to you. It’s something you might pick up on, or not. It’s easy to miss—like a signal buried in static.

There is a way out. If you find it, it’s yours.

That’s all for now. I’ll be posting updates here as the systems come together—crafting, enemies, zones, maybe a glimpse of the “way out.”

Thanks for reading. If any of this resonates, I’d love to hear from you.
